DESCRIPTION
The pyrheliometer PIR (First Class classification according to ISO 9060) is an instrument for measuring the direct solar radiation (Watt/m2) by the thermopile. The receiving surface should be placed (via a solar tracker or manually) perpendicular to the sun rays. Using specific filters, only the direct light reaches the sensor surface. Under the WMO standard (Seventh Edition, 2008) and ISO 9060, the pyrheliometer has a field of view of 5°. Also available with Modbus RS485 serial interface.
