SENSORS
ANEST Triaxial sonic anemometer (x,y,z)
Sensors for environmental monitoring
  • • Ultrasonic sensor for the measurement of the wind on the three axes x, y, z (3D)
  • • No moving parts, low maintenance and service costs.
  • • Robust construction, suitable for continuous operation even in harsh environmental conditions
  • • Typical range: up 0÷60m/s (speed), 0÷359 ° (direction),
  • • Resolution: 0.01 m/s (speed), 1° (direction), temperature compensated
  • • Accuracy ± 2% of reading
  • • Low power consumption (<2.5 W @ 12VDC, 6W with heater)
  • • Output signal: 0÷20mA or 4÷2Vdc
  • • Operating conditions: -40 ÷ +60°C (with heater)
  • • Power supply: 12÷30Vdc

DESCRIPTION
Triaxial ultrasonic sensor for measuring the speed and direction of the wind and sonic component (temperature and speed of sound), capable of measuring the characteristics of the wind along the three orthogonal axes x, y, z and their Cartesian resulting . Robust construction made of resin and anodized aluminum alloy. Linear, precise and extremely reliable in all conditions, high dynamic response. Easy to interface with each data logger. The sensor is equipped with electrical protections and is available with various signal outputs.
